What does Er FF mean on my LG fridge?
LG says the freezer fan motor isn't running properly, usually because ice has built up around it. The ice is the symptom. If it came from a defrost fault, it will build up again after you melt it.
I defrosted it and the FF code came back. Now what?
That is exactly when LG says to get a technician. Something is letting the ice form: a defrost heater, sensor, control or the fan motor itself. That's a repair, not another defrost.
